Understanding the Workers' Compensation Process

The workers' compensation process can seem overwhelming. At Quinn & Morris, LLP, our lawyers will meet directly with you and guide you through the entire process.

Workers' Compensation Claims: After meeting with you, we will file your claim for benefits with the Department of Industrial Accidents. A meeting will occur where we will attempt to resolve the benefit issues with your employer's workers' compensation provider. If the claim is not resolved, our attorneys will represent you in a conference before an administrative law judge. After hearing testimony and reviewing evidence, the judge will render a decision and issue a conference order which states the decision.
