Mr. Morrissey is a trial attorney concentrating his practice in the area of personal injury and insurance law. Mr. Morrissey's practice includes wrongful death, construction site accident, medical malpractice, premises liability, automobile and workers' compensation claims. In addition to his trial practice, Mr. Morrissey is a member of the Board of Bar Overseers' Hearing Committee for Plymouth and Norfolk Counties and the Medical Malpractice Tribunal for Suffolk County. The Hearing Committee conducts evidentiary hearings on complaints of attorney misconduct and reports findings of fact and law with recommendations for discipline to the Supreme Judicial Court of Massachusetts. The Malpractice Tribunal hears claims of medical malpractice to determine if the evidence is sufficient for judicial inquiry without the necessity of posting a statutory bond. Mr. Morrissey is admitted to practice before all courts of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and the United States District Court and the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit. jjm@quinnmorris.com
